Artwork RequirementsCustomers are always asking us, what is the best method to submit finished artwork to screen print or embroider my items? The answer to this question can be quite extensive, however to achieve good printing results these minimum requirements should be met. If your files do not meet these specifications, then your file may be rejected. If you would like us to correct the file, there will be an additional artwork charge. In rare instances, there are some artwork files that we cannot edit or fix. We will provide you with a digital proof, but there is to be expected a + or - difference of color from the actual final product. Be aware that all computer monitors do not display consistent color from one to the other. Note: When creating artwork for screen printing, designs with SPOT COLORS work best. (If the art incorporates process colors, a slight shift in color is to be expected, due to the nature of the printing process).
Hand Rendered Art Requirements:Hand rendered, or drawn line art can often be scanned and printed if the lines are clean and in black ink. Art will need to be evaluated for reproduction quality. Computer Generated Vector Art Requiements:
Save file as .AI or .EPS format.Convert ALL text to outlines, paths or curves. Make sure that any embedded images have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. All imported files, such as TIFFs , must be included separately to meet our raster artwork requirements.Computer Generated Raster Art Requirements
